What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent experience, Understanding of civil, mechanical, electrical, or process engineering disciplines, numerical and analytical skills, Able to manage workload and meet deadlines, Confident using MS Office (especially Excel)

Nice to Have

Experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, or similar sectors, Exposure to estimating software and contractor/subcontractor environments

What You'll Do.

Prepare CAPEX estimates

Understand and quantify project scope

Gather cost information from suppliers

Produce accurate estimates using software

Apply estimating systems and processes

Identify best practice and efficiencies

Develop cost models for project elements

Maintain and update cost databases

Liaise with Procurement for cost validation

Ensure smooth handover of estimates

Promote a “Safer Every Day” culture

Follow all H&S policies

Contribute to continuous improvement
