Must Have
Previous experience in estimating within the construction, concreting, landscaping, or residential building industry, Ability to interpret plans and project documentation, numerical and analytical skills, High attention to detail and accuracy, Comfortable working within software-driven estimating systems, Ability to work independently and manage multiple quotes simultaneously
Nice to Have
Working experience using Build Paperless is highly preferred, Experience using Build Paperless, Buildxact, Groundplan, CostX, Cubit, or similar estimating software, Residential concreting or civil construction experience, Familiarity with AI-assisted takeoff and estimating tools, Understanding of residential construction workflows and project costing
What You'll Do.
Prepare accurate estimates and quotations
and project requirements
Create and manage jobs within Build Paperless
Develop detailed cost estimates
Ensure estimates align with pricing structures
Maintain consistency and accuracy across quotations
Manage the quoting process within Build Paperless
Upload plans and project documentation
Configure estimate inputs and project parameters
Review and validate AI-generated takeoffs
Identify discrepancies and make adjustments
Ensure estimates are complete for client submission
Manage quote requests from enquiry to estimate
Monitor quoting turnaround times
Prioritise urgent opportunities
Maintain accurate records of estimates
Follow internal processes for quoting workflow
Assist with quote revisions and updates
Improve estimating workflows and system efficiency
Contribute ideas to streamline quoting processes
Support refinement of estimating templates
Assist in maintaining estimating data
