Estimating and Pricing Lead **Company:** The Boeing Company The Boeing Company - Space and Launch – Estimating and Pricing, is seeking a **Estimating and Pricing Lead t** o join our team in **El Segundo, California.** In this exciting and highly visible role, this person will be developing Cost Estimates and Cost Proposals, conducting cost model improvements, and briefing recommendations up through all levels of the company. **Position Responsibilities:** * Leads development of estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program * Develops, prepares and validates estimates and prices * Evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals * Develops estimating and pricing methods * Evaluates and develops cases * Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, etc.) * Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements * Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation * Develops solutions to unique challenges that may serve as precedent for future decisions * Recognized as a job expert within the company and consultant to top management **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** * Bachelor’s degree or higher * 5+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA) * 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word * Willing to travel domestically as needed **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** * Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or a related field * Active Secret Security Clearance within the past 24 months * Experience with government, company, and local policies, pro
