To give a safe and secure work environment for personnel and operations. **What a typical day looks like:** * Apply safety and security rules as per manuals, including but not limited to course of action, protocols, pertinent laws, regulations, and standards. * Manage daily safety and security operations and resolve any escalated issues. * Assist Security Manager to do monthly guard assessment, handle emergency cases, help with investigations and audits. * In charge of the setting up and maintenance of security and alarm systems. Supervise the security entrance/exit. * Implement security/safety improvements in accordance with corporate policies and local best practices * Know commercial operations for the site in order to detect loss risk and carry out correspondence investigations * Develop and maintain list of appropriate police jurisdiction contacts. * Monitor security officers to enforce security/safety programs and to ensure security provider is providing security officers with the appropriate skillsets and work attitudes * Acknowledges all security concerns from tenants and company personnel, and door or system alarms * Develop and maintain positive relations with tenants, contractors, local law enforcement, etc
