What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5-8 years of experience in financial and/or investment research in a KPO or advisory firm, Solid experience in financial modelling, forecasting, valuations, writing investment research, Strong grasp of financial concepts and their applications across equity research, Suitable understanding of capital markets and macroeconomic trends, Experience in end-end execution of projects and communication with clients, Graduate or above
What You'll Do.
Preparing/updating financial models for coverage companies and conducting valuation (using DCF
Contributing to various reports for coverage sector–earnings notes
initiating coverage notes
Issuing timely updates on company events/sector events/trend-changing events and gauging the impact on valuation/recommendation of stocks
Maintaining sector-specific databases and periodicals
Preparing custom financial dashboards and screeners based on appropriate financial and operating metrics
Supporting the client on ad-hoc research tasks relating to companies
Manage client communication independently including one-to-one client communication
contributing to morning meetings and dealing with the sales team of clients
Contribute to certain product/process development exercises for the client
Work on important pilot projects
Create IPs/white paperslogs/articles/teasers which can be used for marketing purposes
