This person will: * Identify opportunities through deep research, rigorous analysis of company financials and market trends, and conversations with leading analysts and investors. * They should have no qualms about reaching out to C-suite executives or reporting on the ground to gather insights firsthand. * The ideal candidate is fluent in balance sheets, income statements, and valuation metrics, and can recognize when changes in these figures may signal a shift in a company’s prospects. * They will be well-sourced among Wall Street professionals and skilled at turning those relationships into actionable insights and fresh perspectives. * Their writing and on-air analysis should combine the depth of a Wall Street analyst with the accessibility of a skilled communicator, helping CNBC’s audience understand not just what to buy or sel
