Full Job Description
TxDOT's Brownwood District is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our Lampasas. Maintenance office . This position performs skilled equipment maintenance work operating equipment such as; motor graders, excavators, herbicide truck, asphalt paving machines, and dump trucks. In addition to operating equipment, this position may also conduct preventive and minor maintenance on equipment, perform traffic control, assisting the public during emergency situations, and training other employees. Important: As part of the selection process, candidates will be required to complete a simulation designed to evaluate practical application of concepts relevant to the role.
