The Equipment Operator is also responsible for conducting pre-operational inspections, ensures equipment is maintained and operating safely, and reports any issues to management._ **Key Responsibilities** The responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: * Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites * Move and place materials such as fill, sand, and gravel using equipment such as backhoes or excavators when required * Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report equipment defects or maintenance needs * Follow all company and site safety policies, procedures, and regulations * Work safely around underground utilities, overhead power lines, and congested work areas * Operate heavy equipment with various attachments, including shears, buckets, and pulverisers, as required * Follow direction from the Site Sup
