Ability to perform manual labor in various conditions, work extended hours as needed, lifting up to 50 pounds, extended standing or walking on project sites, climbing in and out of equipment, working in confined spaces or at heights, possible exposure to heavy machinery, chemicals, dust, fumes, noise, and extreme weather, Proper PPE, including protective eyewear, gloves, a hard hat, and steel-toed boots, is required
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5 year’s experience in fleet management, Ability to mentor and train staff, 30 Hour OSHA training, Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of company business
Nice to Have
40 Hour HAZWOPER training, Competent Person Safety Training, 8-Hour Supervisory Training, 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety Training, First Aid and CPR
What You'll Do.
day-to-day management of a fleet of heavy equipment and vehicles
management of daily operations
management of equipment rental agreements
life cycle of company owned equipment
Coordinates repairs and maintenance
Prioritize requests from the field
assign the most appropriate personnel to the task(s)
Assists Construction Managers in the negotiation and acquisition of rental equipment
review and approval of all rental agreements with vendors
Coordinates mobilization and demobilization of equipment to and from the job site(s)
implementation of policies and procedures related to equipment
Promotes and communicates company commitment to safety
identifying and mitigating task-related safety risks
