This role includes performing preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, and repairs, while supporting production teams with technical issues. The technician will also mentor associates, promote continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with BD quality systems, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Regular, punctual attendance and adherence to BD Values are essential. **Primary Duties and Authorities include, but are not limited to:** * Perform hands-on maintenance and improvement activities on high-speed automated equipment. * Conduct regular preventive maintenance audits and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. * Troubleshoot and repair equipment; escalate major issues to the manufacturing technical lead. * Operate, set up, adjust, and perform changeovers on production equipment. * Monitor and maintain production quality, minimize downtime, and reduce waste. * Document PM audits and corrective actions electronically in SAP. * Analyze equipment failure trends and update PM work orders accordingly. * Maintain equipment to meet quality and quantity standards, including cleaning and adjustments. * Keep detailed equipment logs for downtime and maintenance activities. * Coordinate major repairs with Maintenance, Engineering, and other technical teams. * Ensure completion and closure of PM tas
