This role focuses on analyzing equipment damage incidents, developing prevention strategies, and managing claims processes to minimize operational costs and improve fleet safety. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with industry knowledge to drive continuous improvement in our damage mitigation programs. **Responsibilities:** * Conduct thorough investigations of equipment damage incidents including tractors, trailers, and cargo handling equipment. * Analyze damage patterns and root causes. * Prepare detailed damage reports with photographic documentation and cost assessments. * Collaborate with maintenance teams, drivers, and operations staff to gather comprehensive incident information. * Review and process damage claims from initial report through resolution. * Coordinate with insurance carriers, repair vendors, and legal teams on complex claims. * Maintain accurate claims databases and tracking systems. * Negotiate settlements and manage vendor relationships for cost-effective repairs. * Identify high-risk routes, facilities, and operational scenarios through trend analysis. * Create and implement driver training programs focused on damage prevention. * Work with safety teams to establish best practices and standard operating procedures. * Gener
