What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture or an Associate's Degree with equivalent work related experience, Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience, Proficient in Project Management software, Proficient in financial accounting systems, Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office, Personal Computer working capabilities in Adobe Writer, Personal Computer working capabilities in Visio, Personal Computer working capabilities in basic Windows environment
Nice to Have
Minimum of five years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry, Management experience with projects related to Mechanical Retrofits, Management experience with projects related to BAS management, Management experience with projects related to HVAC Equipment
What You'll Do.
complex HVAC equipment construction projects
Support projects in the Washington DC and Baltimore
Travel to customer sites occasionally
Execute assigned Equipment Complex Projects profitably
Provide sales support activities
Provide input on strategy
Provide input on vendor / partner’s selection
Provide input on scope enhancements
Provide input on value engineering
Provide input on risk assessment
Ensure projects are done accurately
Ensure projects are done on-time
Ensure projects are billed
Ensure projects are within budget
Ensure projects are within scope of contract
Maintain positive cash flow
Actively pursue selling change orders
Ensure work performed is in compliance with legal

Support Projects Engineers in evaluating contractual scope
Support System Application Engineers in evaluating contractual scope
Evaluate impact of client issued bulletins
Evaluate impact of field directives
Evaluate impact of scheduling changes
Perform associated cost estimates
Negotiate final settlement price
Negotiate customer acceptance
Manage company HVAC mechanics
Manage subcontractors
Complete project billings in timely and accurate format
Maintain profitability goals

Analyze financial reporting systems
Analyze project schedules
Proactively address potential problems
