Full Job Description

VAM Systems is currently looking forEquation Developer for ourBahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions: Experience Required: Years of Experience 7 - 10 years * Strong development experience in RPGLE, CL, SQLRPG, designing display files (screens), sub files, reports and physical files. * Strong knowledge of AS400 commands into how to deal with files, objects, and queries. * Excellent knowledge of Equation Core Banking (back-end files, data management, EOD cycle, programming skills with Equation APIs and User exits). * Experience in following a structured SDLC process and change/release management and control. * Knowledge/skills in developing interfaces/extracts/reports and integration with third party systems. * Hands on experience in designing/developing/implementing solution on EQUATION core banking system. * Must have Banking / Financial Services experience. Qualifications * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field. Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain middleware solutions using IBM Integration technologies. * Integrate core banking systems with digital channels or external APIs via APIs and messaging platforms. * Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of middleware components. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements. * Develop and maintain microservices architecture for seamless system communication. * Monitor and troubleshoot middleware performance and availability. Ensuring secure development practices. * Implement CI/CD pipelines for middleware deployment and updates. * Document integration flows, technical specifications, and support procedures.
