Full Job Description

****Job Description:**** An opportunity for an **EOIR Systems Engineer** has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, located at Torrejón de Ardoz Air Base (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the ESAOGEL Technical Assistance group within the CLAEX Systems Analysis team, working daily in close contact with the Spanish Air Force. This recently created team is in charge of delivering Electro-Optical and Infra-Red (EO/IR) operational data, electronic warfare capabilities, and countermeasures across multiple military aircraft platforms. The jobholder will reinforce this highly specialized environment, developing tailored solutions for current and future defense needs while directly witnessing how the technology is deployed in real missions. **RESPONSIBILITIES** The main tasks of the jobholder will be: * **Provide** direct technical support and guidance throughout every development stage for the tactical systems under ESAOGEL responsibility. * **Define** and evaluate operational data for the Spanish Air Force through specialized software, test rigs, and flight tests. * **Support** the customer on-site during national and international tactical military exercises (e.g., Nube Gris). * **Analyze** operational performance, review technical documentation, and ensure aircraft weapon systems requirements are fully met. * **Collaborate** daily with military stakeholders and international partners to implement urgent operational data updates and patches. **SKILLS** Is your profile aligned to the following list of skills?
