What You'll Do.
Support pre-hospital emergency care training
Support trauma management training
Deliver chemical environment training
Liaise for training logistics
Assess team competency
Ensure course delivery within budget

Conduct decontamination

Full Job Description
**Job Title:** EOD Team Medic (Chemical Weapons Access) **Location:** Syria **Salary:** £49,425 - £64,365 per annum, dependent on experience **Hours:** Full time **Contract Type:** Fixed term, two years (pending confirmation of funding) **Reports To: ** Team leader **Key Internal Contacts/Relationships: ** Project Manager, Technical Advisors, Team Leaders **Key External Contacts/Relationships:** National authorities, local medical professionals J**ob Purpose:** To provide close medical support to an EOD Team conducting EOD operations in potential chemical environments. ### About HALO: HALO is the leading global NGO addressing the impact and drivers of conflict in 30 countries and territories, with over 8,000 staff. HALO addresses human suffering caused by armed violence in some of the world’s most fragile places, securing weapons and ammunition and working with both state and community actors to reduce the prevalence of armed violence. ### PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROLE IS BASED FULL-TIME IN SYRIA, AND CANNOT BE CONDUCTED REMOTELY ### About the role: We have an exciting opportunity to recruit EOD Team Medics to provide close medical support to an EOD Team conducting EOD operations in potential chemical environments. In addition, they will be crucial in the development and implementation of this new capability. The role will be an international contract in our Middle East and North Africa region. In addition to the medical support provided to the EOD team operating in areas with suspected chemical weapons, they will be crucial in the development and implementation of this new capability. ### Responsibili
