What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Earth Science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline, 5+ years of professional experience leading trainings and supporting environmental analysis, research, or compliance projects, analytical skills and proficiency with environmental data, Excellent technical writing and editing skills with experience developing government deliverables or reports, Comfortable and confident with public speaking, Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a contract-driven environment, U. S. citizenship required
Nice to Have
Master's degree in Environmental Science or related field, Experience working on federal or state environmental contracts, Working knowledge of project management tools and compliance tracking systems, Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a deadline-driven contracting environment
What You'll Do.
Plan and facilitate training sessions for applicants seeking
Develop and present scientific and technical materials for
Serve as a technical liaison supporting agency communications
Respond to data-related questions from trainees and permit
Spot-check data for accuracy and completeness
Verify calculations and formulas
Document methods and assumptions for auditability and reproducibility
and technically accurate deliverables including
Ensure all documentation meets QA/QC and contract deliverable
Track project milestones
and schedules to ensure
Coordinate and schedule webinars
Provide participant support before and during events by
Set up and manage virtual meeting features
Conduct post-event follow-up
including distributing recordings and materials
Maintain accurate records of participants
