What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2+ years of prior experience working with hazardous materials, Ability to operate equipment, including a forklift and pallet jack, Visual acuity to read labels and depth perception to safely drive forklifts, Ability to hear vehicle warning chimes and alarms, Ability to work outdoors in all climate conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled conditions, Willingness and ability to wear company-issued personal protection equipment including safety glasses, hard had, steel toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator
Nice to Have
Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment, Basic computer skills to complete web-based training, Ability to understand and respond to written and verbal English, Ability to predictably and regularly attend work during scheduled hours, Willingness and ability to occasionally work nights, weekends and variable schedule(s) as necessary, Ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and coworkers
What You'll Do.
Complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices
Collect samples of inbound waste for compatibility
Unload bulk liquid trucks to proper tank
Resolve and report issues with inbound loads
Operate hi-lo and end loaders in a safe
Know waste streams and their treatment protocol
Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by
