What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences or a related field (e. g. Environmental Engineering, Natural Sciences or equivalent), 0–2 years of experience in environmental inspections or a similar engineering/scientific role, Communication skills in both Greek and English (written and spoken), Good knowledge of MS Office, Valid driving license (Category B), Good physical condition, suitable for fieldwork activities, organizational skills, with creative and critical thinking abilities, Ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines in field conditions
What You'll Do.
Implementation support of the Environmental & Social Management System (ESMS) in line with ESIA and EIA requirements
Support in the implementation of Sustainability Integrated Management Systems (SIMS) according to corporate standards
Application of Environmental and Energy Management Systems in accordance with ISO 14001: 2015
ISO 14064: 2018 and ISO 50001: 2018 standards
Daily environmental inspections
samplings and monitoring activities to ensure site compliance with environmental terms and management systems
Operation and maintenance support of field and permanently installed environmental monitoring equipment
Field measurements of surface water flow and physicochemical parameters
including groundwater sampling and borehole monitoring activities
Collection and validation of environmental data
including accuracy checks
exceedance identification and reporting to the field coordinator
Contribution to the preparation of quarterly and annual environmental compliance and monitoring reports
Collaboration with site supervisors and officers for the implementation of environmental programs and initiatives
Support in the monitoring and follow-up of environmental projects and related activities
Participation in environmental awareness and training activities for employees and contractors
Coordination with consultants and site visitors to facilitate environmental inspections and information requests

Team & Collaboration
Collaboration with site supervisors and officers for the implementation of environmental programs and initiatives; Coordination with consultants and site visitors to facilitate environmental inspections and information requests
Communication Scope
Communication skills in both Greek and English (written and spoken)
