Work closely with Onshore Wind and Solar & Batteries teams to implement cost-efficient
sustainable solutions and technologies
Support sustainability targets and ambitions by reducing carbon footprints

Engage with suppliers to strengthen sustainability performance across the supply chain
Support the development of innovations and technologies that enable sustainable growth in renewables
Drive sustainability initiatives
Execute sustainability strategies and ambitions
Ensure compliance with legal
and internal commitments
Integrate and execute sustainability objectives during Onshore Wind and Solar & Battery project development and construction
align and implement cost-efficient sustainability measures
Innovate and develop sustainable solutions and technologies for the Onshore Wind portfolio
apply and evaluate sustainability award criteria and minimum requirements during procurement tenders
Include cost efficient sustainability measures in contracts

Vattenfall is one of Europe`s largest electricity generators and producers of heat. We operate in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK and are looking into European market opportunities. Our strategy is to reduce emissions from power generation with a road map aiming at achieving climate neutrality by 2040. BA Wind is responsible for the development, construction and operation of wind power onshore and offshore as well as other non-hydro renewable activities like solar and batteries. We manage the maintenance, operation and continuous improvement of wind generation assets safely and with the highest levels of availability and profitability. We also perform the structuring and execution of project partnerships in accordance with overall wind strategy. The Environmental and Sustainability unit (EnSu) within BA Wind is a centralized unit supporting our business activities across onshore, offshore, solar, batteries & hydrogen with the aim of lifting sustainability into every aspect of our business and facilitating co-existence of renewable energy development with society and a rich natural environment.
