What You'll Do.
Prepare written approvals
Review 401 Water Quality Certifications
Review Riparian Buffer Authorizations
Represent DWR at NCDOT 404/NEPA Merger meetings
Attend scoping meetings
Attend field site visits
Attend Merger Team meetings
Attend planning meetings
Attend public hearings
Review NCDOT wetland mitigation plans
Review NCDOT stream mitigation plans
Review NCDOT buffer mitigation plans
Conduct site inspections
Review and comment on NEPA documents
Review and comment on SEPA documents
Conduct onsite inspections of NCDOT stormwater BMPs
Serve as technical resource
Facilitate development of transportation projects
Provide technical input
Collaborate with team members
Collaborate with non-transportation staff
Assist with development of training programs
Assist with implementation of training programs
Provide technical assistance to NCDOT
Issue in-field permit modifications
Conduct field project reviews
Conduct onsite project reviews during construction
Serve as representative on task forces
