S. citizen, Must possess a DoD Secret security clearance
Nice to Have
Master's degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or a related engineering/science field, Prior military or Federal consulting experience, Professional Engineer (P. E. ) license, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Professional Geologist (PG), Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA)

# **ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST** ICF is seeking an experienced **Environmental Specialist** to support a Department of War (DOW) contract and team based in Huntsville, Alabama. The team provides comprehensive environmental management support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) including air permitting, regulatory environmental compliance, environmental impact analysis, planning, policy and strategy development, sustainability, conservation, and related technical assistance including support to all agency missions, weapons systems acquisition, development, testing, deployment, and fielding at geographically dispersed locations worldwide. **This position is based in Huntsville, Alabama with travel required for specific project work throughout the United States and abroad (generally less than 25%).** **Currently, the position requires working onsite in a federal government facility Mondays through Thursdays, with situational telework authorized on Fridays. However, the telework authorization is subject to change at any time based on client requirements. Candidate must possess DoD Secret security clearance or have the ability to obtain clearance upon hire.** **SECRET Clearance Required or Candidate must have the ability to obtain one.** **Responsibilities** The Environmental Specialist will support and execute air emissions modeling and permitting; environmental compliance audits of related to DOW system testing; environmental policies, studies and analysis, including National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA); and facilities planning, design, construction, operation, and sustainment.
