What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, safety science, or equivalent, 3–5 years’ work experience as an environmental specialist in an industrial setting, Unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States

Nice to Have

Experience in chemical manufacturing preferred

What You'll Do.

Manage facility hazardous and non-hazardous waste storage

Manage sample collection

and environmental programs

Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulations

Ensure environmental reports

and requirements are complete

Provide technical support on environmental regulations

Maintain recordkeeping and reporting

Support incident management

and process safety efforts

Complete waste profiles

Conduct required inspections

Manage facility LDAR program

Ensure permit applications and revisions are submitted

Collect and record data for environmental systems

and document environmental incidents

Complete corrective action items

Conduct employee environmental training

Track training completion

Assist with emergency response plans and procedures

Support and participate in process safety efforts
