Rotating Shift, Non-Exempt, Union, Per Diem, Ability to read and write Basic English, Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)

Must Have
6 - 12 months Customer Service experience in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment, 6 - 12 months Healthcare Housekeeping, Hotel, or Hospitality experience, Ability to read and write Basic English, Demonstrate excellent customer service behavior, Able to function independently and as a member of a team

What You'll Do.

Maintain established orderliness
Comply with proper patient room cleaning policies
Properly dispose of waste
Practice Infection Control Standards/Requirements
and clean carpets/chairs
Complete high and low dusting
Observe and report items and equipment in need of repair
Clean and disinfect all fixtures
and replenish supplies in restrooms
Remove and replace sharps containers
and biohazardous containers
Document performed tasks
Demonstrate behavior that supports the USC University Hospital mission
Attend required Orientation and Training Seminars
