What You'll Achieve.
Promotes environmental protection by maintaining healthy and safe medical facilities for employees and visitors
Industry & Context.
Third Shift 11pm - 7:30am with rotating weekends, Heavy contact with cleaning chemicals, disinfecting agents, floor strippers and finishes, Works in contaminated, isolation, construction and renovation areas, Occasionally works in extreme temperatures and around unpleasant smells, Exposure to individuals with various degrees of mental, physical conditions and illnesses

Must Have
Can prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner, Can operate equipment, Can establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers
Nice to Have
High School diploma or GED equivalent, One year experience
What You'll Do.
Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas
Dusting and sanitizing furniture
vents and light fixtures
scrubbing and refinishing floors
Vacuuming and shampooing carpet
Re-stocking restrooms
Replacing light bulbs
Assisting with outdoor cleaning including parking lot
Handling cleaning chemicals
floor strippers and finishes
Collecting and transporting soiled linen
Emptying trash containers
Changing sharps containers
Transporting solid and hazardous waste to compactors
Emptying cigarette receptacles in smoking areas
Keeps equipment clean and orderly
Reports equipment failures or other mechanical issues to maintenance staff
Maintains safe working environment
Provides quality service
Complies with procedures
rules and regulations
Complies with infection control guidelines
Meets departmental quality standards
Attends all required in-service education and training classes
Attends safety update programs
Consistently demonstrates the ability to meet time schedules and deadlines
