Eligibility Requirements

SECRET CLEARANCE Required, Must be a U. S. citizen per federal contract requirements, Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance (may allow for the ability to obtain one), travel required for specific project work throughout the United States and abroad (generally less than 25%), working onsite in a federal government facility Mondays through Thursdays, with situational telework authorized on Fridays, Ability to work in the field, work outdoors, and lift up to 50 lbs

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Master's degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or a related engineering/science field, Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional environmental work experience, Experience in preparing air emission calculations and permit applications for emergency/prime power diesel- or natural gas fired-generators and boilers, environmental regulatory background with experience in CAA, RCRA, and NEPA, including preparing Environmental Assessments (EAs), Impact Statements (EIS), and supporting documents, Experience conducting multi-media environmental compliance audits, Experience in Environmental Management System implementation and maintaining conformance, verbal and written communication and computer skills, as well as the ability to work with a high-degree of independence/minimal direct supervision, Ability to work in the field, work outdoors, and lift up to 50 lbs, Must be a U. S. citizen per federal contract requirements, Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance (may allow for the ability to obtain one)

Nice to Have

Prior military or Federal consulting experience is preferred, Professional Engineer (P. E. ) license and/or other relevant environmental professional credentials such as Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Professional Geologist (PG); or Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA) are preferred

What You'll Do.

support and execute air emissions modeling and environmental policies

including National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)

environmental compliance audits of related to DOW system testing

and facilities planning

Serving as a subject matter and regulatory expert on complex technical and programmatic issues related to environmental planning

and compliance initiatives

Conducting air emission calculations and preparing permit applications for the use of generators and boilers in the United States and its territories

Developing strategies related to environmental planning

Supporting multiple concurrent high priority environmental projects

developing sound solutions

and presenting recommendations to the team for approval and implementation

Interacting directly with client on a daily basis
