**Environmental Health & Safety Specialist** **Are you looking for an interesting and inspiring opportunity?** **Would you like to be part of a successful company?** **Join our HSE** **Team!** **Partner with the best** As an HSE Lead, you will be responsible for * Engaging with business unit leadership team, to drive a sense of shared accountability and continuous improvement in HSE performance and culture, and integrate HSE in business decisions and management systems * Driving a compelling sense of urgency across the different product lines to identify HSE hazards, develop and implement effective safety critical barriers, and validate them * Driving the same compelling sense of urgency across the different product lines to identify applicable HSE regulatory requirements and take actions to ensure compliance * Engaging and cooperating with the broader Baker Hughes HSE function to deploy HSE practices and standards and accelerate performance improvements * Taking an active and effective stance in representing the company in external industry or community events **Fuel your passion** To be successful in this role you will: * Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in HSE or Engineering * Have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an HSE role, preferably in Oil and Gas/ Energy industries or Manufacturing * Be knowledgeable about Kuwait Occupational Safety & Health regulations and standards, and experienced in working with relevant regulatory agencies * Have skills in interfacing effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as outside Baker Hughes, including contractors, vendors, and customers * Being approved as HSE by KOC is a plus **Work in a way that works for you** We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
