What They're Looking For.
Must Have
English and German communication, Microsoft Office experience, Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, environmental management, or natural sciences, 6+ years compliance, audit or risk management experience, In depth knowledge of EU, country and local environmental regulations
Nice to Have
Master's Degree in engineering or science, Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile or equivalent certification, Experience working in law, customer service, investigations, risk, compliance or project management, Experience implementing scalable compliance solutions in a regulated environment
What You'll Do.
Ensure 100% compliance with EU directives and country-specific
Complete and submit all required environmental reports to
Conduct compliance audits at regional facilities
Maintain current knowledge of environmental regulations
Lead environmental risk assessments across facilities
Identify and prioritize environmental risks
Develop and implement site-specific risk mitigation plans
Partner with operations leadership teams to integrate environmental
Serve as primary liaison with environmental regulatory authorities
Coordinate with Legal team on regulatory inquiries
Implement environmental management systems aligned with ISO 14001
Identify and scale best practices across facilities
Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex environmental challenges
Develop and deliver environmental training programs
Manage environmental compliance projects from initiation through completion
Coordinate permit renewals and modifications across multiple jurisdictions
Oversee environmental data collection and reporting
Maintain environmental compliance documentation and audit trails
