BAS or equivalent work experience, Fluent English, Experience in EH &S and knowledge of related regulations, codes, and guidelines, Ability to communicate and demonstrate technical expertise with internal and external customers, Experience in metal mechanics industry

What You'll Do.
implementation of complex activities related to the efficient management of Environmental Health & Safety programs in offices and manufacturing sites to ensure that the required company and government standards and regulations are met
through subordinate supervisors
the coordination of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs in offices
and plants with control results in terms of costs
Develop and administer budgets
and performance requirements
Conduct meetings involving environmental safety
and awareness programs
Oversee proper maintenance of buildings
furniture and fixtures in accordance with federal
state and local regulations
Provide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance and act as advisor to unit
or sub-units and get involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems
Establish and recommend changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s)
Manage budget and schedule for moderately complex EH &S activities
including costs of contract labor
Train staff on any changes to policy and procedures
Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce

Team & Collaboration
Interact frequently with subordinate supervisors, customers and/or functional peer group managers
Communication Scope
Excellent communication skills; Ability to communicate and demonstrate technical expertise with internal and external customers; Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc.
