What You'll Do.
operating a forklift to collect, stack, and deliver a wide variety of materials within the production plant to support assigned team, Demonstrates consistency in practicing all safety procedures., Identifies material types and practice proper disposal of scrap., Operates the following equipment associated with material handling: radios, scanners, trash compacter, and cardboard bailer., Maintains a clean and orderly area ensuring aisle ways are clear, part racks are organized, parts are stocked in posted locations, Fills out daily check list and completes visual inspections., Keeps supplies adequately stocked for team’s daily needs., Responds to team request in timely manner., Understands how to correctly use the following functions within JDE programing (i.
sending Kanban cards, tracking Kanban card status and history.
), Utilizes all programs for communication of supply needs in department., Models Team Member Expected Behaviors and Henny Penny core values.
