Assist with conducting trade studies
Develop prototype demonstrations on flight-like communication subsystem testbeds
Support unit-level integration and performance simulations
Support ASIC and FPGA level system design and verification
Support hardware procurement

Entry-Level Systems Engineer (Digital Comm & Networks Sys Engrg) **Company:** The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security is seeking an **Entry-level System Engineer** to join the Space and Launch Engineering team in **El Segundo, California** , to design and develop state-of-the-art, space-based communication systems for commercial, civil, and national security programs. You will be part of a highly-motivated team that works with domestic and international customers on the latest satellite systems. Project assignments typically span the unit life cycle, from internal trades, concept studies and system definition, to satellite unit development and test. You will belong to a systems engineering team interacting with customers, suppliers, program management, integration and test engineers, and senior technologists. **Position Responsibilities:** * Design and develop next generation **RF** , **digital** , and **optical satellite** communication systems. * Develop and verify multi-rate, fixed-point **digital** **signal processing architectures.** * **Allocate, define, and verify requirements** and interfaces in the development of communication digital payloads. * Develop performance and link budgets. * Conduct performance analysis of signal processing models. * Assist with conducting trade studies. * **Develop prototype demonstrations** on flight-like communication subsystem testbeds. * Support unit-level integration and performance simulations. * Support ASIC and FPGA level system design and verification. * Support hardware procurement, design reviews, and unit sell-offs. **This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
