Job Description As a Geotechnical Driller, you will be responsible for providing assistance to and working with drilling staff, senior technicians, surveyors, and construction managers. The Assistant Driller plays a vital role in collecting information in the field and capturing subsurface materials to better serve our clients for accurate geotechnical analyses. This is an entry level position, which will require a significant amount of travel and working year-round in all types of terrain and weather conditions. On the job training is provided for this niche position and there is opportunity for advancement as geotechnical drilling skills are mastered. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Assists drilling staff to perform inspection assignments under direct supervision. Prepares daily reports and keeps accurate records of drilling activities according to pre-established guidelines Assist in setting up and monitoring the safety of drilling operations Works in all types of terrain and weather conditions Qualifications You are passionate about: Working collaboratively with others.
