Full Job Description
Entry-Level Electrical Modification Technician – P-8 **Company:** Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Servies (BGS) is looking for **Entry Level Electrical Modification Technicians** to join our P-8 team in **Jacksonville, FL**. **Position Responsibilities:** * Assist with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes * Assist with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components * Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components * Fabricate and modify aerospace products according to specifications * Assist with and perform tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations) * Work under general supervision **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** * Experience with electrical/electronic theories and avionics systems, shop mathematics and practices * Experience in working with schematics, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating procedures. * Experience with component and wire installation to include repairing, modifying, testing and troubleshooting new, experimental, and disturbed systems * Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** * Experience with avionics and aircraft systems * FAA certification in Airframe and/or Power Plant * Active US Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher **Conflict of Interest:** Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process **Shift:** This position is variable shift **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies _._ **Total Rewards & Pay Transparency:** At Boe
