What They're Looking For.
Must Have
bachelor of science in electrical engineering or computer engineering, or an equivalent technical degree
Nice to Have
Co-op or project experience with electrical engineering and PLC automation applications, Co-op or project experience with pharmaceutical, consumer products, and high-speed environments
What You'll Do.
Apply knowledge of programming methods
electrical design and engineering problem solving to 21st century manufacturing practices
and troubleshoot packaging machinery and line control systems
Travel to top clients across the country to assist in the design of manufacturing processes
and develop facilities
Create user applications to monitor and control the production of consumer goods and satisfy regulatory agencies in compliance with modern industry standards
Design control systems that provide instantaneous feedback on the production life cycle
Design electrical control panels
Design industrial controller (PLC) programs and develop human machine interfaces (HMIs)
Support Barry-Wehmiller Design Group project teams
