What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3-7 years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting, Experience in the modern finance or procurement stack, Deep understanding of the needs and technologies our ideal customers use, Familiarity with the procurement and billing/AP space, Experience with demoing, implementing or administering key applications such as ERPs, CLMs, GRC, procurement and/or AP automation platforms, Effective communicator, simplifying technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences, Proactive problem solver, with troubleshooting skills and a customer-first mindset, Technical foundation, with the ability to quickly learn and demonstrate a complex software platform, Skilled at leading product demos, running discovery sessions, and crafting custom solutions for enterprise clients, Comfortable responding to RFPs/RFIs and addressing IT security queries, managing complex technical requirements

What You'll Do.
Serve as the primary technical advisor to prospective clients
Shape customer solutions
aligning our platform to meet unique needs
Ensure a smooth transition to our Customer team
Conduct technical discovery sessions
Build custom demos/PoCs
Troubleshoot and answer technical questions
Act as the technical expert in the enterprise sales process
Engage directly with prospects
building tailored demos and leading technical discussions
Lead custom discovery sessions
understand customer pain points
and showcase new or non-standard capabilities
Drive and own POCs in collaboration with the Customer and Product teams
Provide valuable feedback from the field to the Product team
Continuously improve our pre-sales processes
refining demo environments
technical documentation
and other sales collateral

Team & Collaboration
Work alongside a talented team; Partner with our sales team; Act as a bridge between Sales, Product, and Customer, ensuring consistent communication and alignment throughout the customer journey; Collaborate with the Customer and Product teams on POCs
