Must Have

Experience in enterprise or second-line risk roles within financial services or insurance, Experience designing, owning or overseeing ERM frameworks and risk policy governance, Proven ability to engage confidently with senior executives, Boards and governance committees, A sound understanding of UK regulatory expectations (e.g. FCA / PRA) and how they translate into practical risk governance, Excellent communication skills, judgement and the confidence to provide independent challenge

Nice to Have

Professional risk qualifications (e.g. FRM, PRM) are desirable but not essential

What You'll Do.

design and continuously enhance the Regulated Entity Risk Management Framework

Lead risk policy governance

including development

maintenance and oversight

Run the quarterly policy governance cycle

Provide independent assurance and credible challenge

Act as a trusted advisor to executives and Boards

Enable consistent adoption of risk frameworks

Monitor regulatory developments and industry leading practice

Lead initiatives to uplift risk management maturity
