The final compensation for this position will be determined based on individual factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. **Enterprise Data Modeler - Hybrid** **The Opportunity** The Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) is seeking an Enterprise Data Modeler who will play a key role in advancing our organization's data modeling practices and ensuring semantic consistency in business information and systems. This senior individual contributor role will be instrumental in developing our business information model and transforming it into both conceptual and logical data designs, guaranteeing smooth integration across various systems, platforms, and analytical environments - including our Data Hub built on medallion architecture. You will oversee the standardization and semantic alignment of data definitions among various business units, direct the conversion of system-level data into models suitable for enterprise use, and assist with integration into the analytics platform. This strategic and technically demanding position involves close collaboration between business and technology teams to promote consistency, build trust in data, and maintain model integrity throughout the organization. **What your day-to-day will look like:** * Define and evolve the Enterprise Business Information Model in close partnership with business stakeholders, ensuring it reflects core business concepts, relationships, and semantics across domains. * Translate the Business Information Model into conceptual and logical data models, enabling consistent, scalable design for transactional, operational and analytics integration. * Drive semantic alignment across business and technical teams, maintaining shared data definitions, taxonomies and supporting the adoption of a unified enterprise vocabulary. * Coordinate with the Data and Solution Practice Leads t
