Must Have

5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, ideally within retail or consumer-facing industries. Proven experience developing technology roadmaps, capability maps, and architectural governance frameworks. Ability to translate business strategy into target-state architecture and structured transition plans. Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman Framework, or ArchiMate. Technical knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure), microservices architecture, APIs, event-driven systems, and data architecture principles. Experience working in agile enterprise architecture environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior technical and business leaders. Analytical and systems thinking skills with attention to scalability and integration complexity.

## Accountabilities In this role, you will define, govern, and evolve enterprise architecture across a major retail domain, ensuring alignment between business strategy, technology execution, and long-term platform scalability. Own the domain architecture roadmap, including current-state assessment, target-state design, capability mapping, and transition planning aligned to enterprise investment cycles. Lead architecture governance processes such as design reviews, architecture decision records (ADRs), and compliance with enterprise standards. Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to evaluate technology solutions and define integration patterns. Ensure all solutions align with enterprise architecture principles and long-term strategic direction. Guide cross-functional teams in translating business needs into scalable, future-ready architecture designs. Drive architectural consistency across systems, platforms, and domains within a complex retail environment. For Reverse Logistics / Supply Chain focus: Design end-to-end architecture for the returns lifecycle, including returns processing, routing, refunds, refurbishment, and secondary-market flows. Define integrations across OMS, WMS, TMS, inventory, finance, and carrier systems. Partner with supply chain and operations leaders to optimize cost-to-serve, recovery value, and cycle times. For Store Systems & Omnichannel focus: Define target-state architecture for unified commerce across digital and physical retail channels. Architect POS and store systems modernization, including cloud-native and associate-facing applications. Design omnichannel fulfillment capabilities such as BOPIS, ship-from-store, curbside pickup, and endless aisle. Requirements: The ideal candidate brings strong enterprise architecture experience in retail or consumer-facing environments, with the ability to translate complex business strategies into scalable, future-ready technology solutions. 5+ years of experience in enterprise
