We are looking for an English Teacher for an international school in Qingdao. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year starting in August 2026. About the school The Qingdao campus, part of a co-educational institution with campuses in India and China, offers the International Foundation Year (IFY) program to prepare students for higher education abroad. With modern facilities and a curriculum blending international standards and Chinese cultural values, it fosters critical thinking, global skills, and adaptability for success in a competitive world. Graduates are well-prepared for university education worldwide. Job responsibilities * Teach the subject of English to high school students utilizing the IGCSE and A-Level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience * Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments * Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum * Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve * Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers * Develop supportive and safe learning environments **Requirements** * Bachelor degree or above in the related subject * Teaching certificate * Two or more years teaching experience in the subject * Excellent communications skills * Good understanding of teaching in British context **Benefits** * Monthly salary 28,000 RMB and above commensurate with experience and qualifications * Monthly housing allowance is 3,000 RMB * Paid summer and winter holiday * Public holiday * Free tuition for dependent children * Free meals during working days
