What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Extensive experience leading training implementation or capability programs in a highly regulated environment, working knowledge of CASA regulations, particularly Part 147 and Part 66, Demonstrated experience supporting new aircraft, systems or programs entering service, understanding of quality systems, governance and regulatory compliance, Experience managing and governing complex training systems, including computer‑based training platforms, Proven ability to work with OEMs and external training providers, A practical, detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to think strategically, Confident stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across technical and leadership audiences, Experience leading teams, Project Management and driving continuous improvement

Lead aircraft training programs and regulatory readiness across the Qantas Group
Play a critical role in bringing new aircraft
systems and technology into service within Engineering
Lead the end‑to‑end implementation of engineering training programs
including aircraft type training
new entry into service activities

Ensure all training materials
systems and documentation meet CASA regulatory requirements
Drive modernisation and digitisation of engineering training solutions
Partner closely with Engineering leaders
OEMs such as Airbus and Boeing
and internal delivery teams to ensure training solutions are fit for purpose

Acting as the Part 147 Responsible Manager, you’ll ensure all training materials, systems and documentation meet CASA regulatory requirements, while also driving modernisation and digitisation of engineering training solutions. You’ll partner closely with Engineering leaders, OEMs such as Airbus and Boeing, and internal delivery teams to ensure training solutions are fit for purpose, future‑focused, and aligned to business strategy.
