Must Have

Associate's degree in an applicable area of Engineering Technology, Survey Technology or a related curriculum, two (2) years of progressive technician level or an equivalent combination of education and experience, QMS Asphalt certification, Concrete Testing certification, Borrow Pit Sampling certification, OSHA Certifications, ability to lift 50 pounds, ability to work in high traffic areas, ability to work at heights over water or traffic, ability to work in extreme temperatures, ability to traverse uneven terrain, ability to work at night and weekends, legally operate a motor vehicle

Nice to Have

Experience with contract administration, Knowledge in understanding contracts, plans, standards, and specifications, Experience in performing inspection, sampling, and testing materials (concrete, asphalt density) to ensure compliance with NCDOT Specifications, Working knowledge of computer equipment (iPad and desktop), Working knowledge of software (HiCAMS and SharePoint), Working knowledge of mathematical functions, Experience in maintaining neat, legible, and accurate records and reports, including computer/iPad data entry
