As a Engineering Technician, you will be an essential part of keeping our resort running smoothly and ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and memorable stay. From tackling projects to solving day-to-day challenges, your skills will help create the exceptional experiences that set VI Resorts by Westgate apart. As a Engineering Tech I, you will: * Complete assigned maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance, and special projects. * Perform general repairs, including painting, caulking, and basic facility upkeep. * Troubleshoot and repair common plumbing, lighting, and electrical issues. * Install and troubleshoot TVs, appliances, and in-room electronics. * Use maintenance systems to track and complete work efficiently. * Communicate professionally with guests and team members to resolve issues. * Follow all safety procedures and properly use tools and equipment. * Identify and address safety hazards on property. * Provide prompt, courteous service to support a positive guest experience. * Perform other duties as assigned to support resort operations. ## Qualifications * High school diploma * 0–1 year of hands-on experience in trades or maintenance, preferably in a resort or commercial environment. * Valid driver’s license (must be maintained in good standing). * Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work with energy, focus, and enthusias
