What You'll Do.

Assists with site preparation work for voice switches at Enroute Centers and Terminal TRACONs.

Assists with Fiber Optics Terminal System (FOTS) installation at various sites throughout the Northwest Region.

Assists with electronics installations

integration and testing for rehoming and monitoring the AFSS radio’s to the selected Enroute and Terminal Air Traffic

installs other Radio Control Equipment (RCE) such as VHF and UHF radio communication systems to transmit and receive radio messages

as well as electrical power conduit; control duct AC power racks for various FAA systems.

Removes and repairs or replaces components

or otherwise installs/repairs various wire types including coaxial

Tests and trouble-shots electrical components by applying the theory of operation of transistors

Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible. _**Job Description:**_ ## Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Engineering Technician** to join our team! ## ## The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons as the prime contractor. This $1.8 billion+ contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The statement of work includes a variety of activities that support the FAA’s Capital Investment Plan (CIP) modernization efforts: Site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, CAD, and other technical services as required. Work is performed across the nation in each of the FAA’s nine regions as well as the Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey and in several U.S. territories.
