Will perform all phases of new product development/introduction to include: molding validations from setting up and starting a new mold to writing the needed documentation to interface between Divisional Molding, Manufacturing Process Technologies and assembly areas to insure all essential requirements are satisfied. Duties will also include providing the Molding Department with technical assistance and training as required **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** * Organize, plan, and execute activities to insure proper mold validations are performed * Develop a consistent, quality process on new molds and products. * Monitor and Document processes as IM department requires * Write validation documents and department specifications. * Install prototype molds and ancillary equipment. * Assist Molding Process Engineers with Department projects. * Provide Technical assistance to the Injection Molding Department as required. * Work directly with Mold Approval Technician on part measurements * Provide technical input and training as required. * Provide technical information needed to maintain capital expenses budget. * Provides assistance in all phases of Budget and Standards preparation * Observe all safety and environmental procedures and good manufacturing practices * Proposes and implements changes in plant processes and equipment to increase efficiency and improve overall cost positions. **ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES** * Performs other duties as directed by the Mo
