Must Have
Associate’s degree OR High School/GED with equivalent experience, Three or more years related technical experience
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree is preferred
What You'll Do.
performing any combination of complex or non-routine duties involving the selection and use of procedures and/or equipment in support of medical diagnostic instrument and/or reagent development and production
instrument maintenance and repairs
configure and understand computer software local area networks
and implements appropriate changes for process improvements
understands and instructs others in the use of manuals
and documentation associated with specialized equipment
Writes basic procedures and technical documents
Constructs complex engineering prototypes
models and builds special test equipment
Performs testing on prototype electrical and/or mechanical designs
Conducts routine instrument maintenances and perform Preventative Maintenance
Conducts complex testing
analysis and troubleshooting
Conducts testing to determine effectiveness of product specifications
Complies to all safety standards and regulatory requirements and documentation procedures
Responsible for lab instrument relocation and documentation

Works both with a team and alone; May work closely with engineers to execute product design
Communication Scope
Reads, understands and instructs others in the use of manuals, test procedures, and documentation associated with specialized equipment; Reads, interprets, and may create engineering drawings, schematics and complex test procedures; Writes basic procedures and technical documents
