What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have
Experience with extrusion processes (medical tubing, polymers, or similar applications), Familiarity with process controls, temperature profiles, and material flow systems, Experience working with assembling and disassembling of tooling, Proficient in tooling GD&T and spare parts inventory management, Troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical systems, Experience in a GMP-regulated environment (medical device, pharmaceutical, etc.), Knowledge of automation and controls such as PLCs, sensors and actuators, Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation, 5S and Lean Manufacturing Skills, Good verbal and written communication skills, Progressive technical certifications, Clear understanding of EHS requirements, Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word, A degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C. F. R. § 214. 2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required for Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States
What You'll Do.
Provide technical support to engineering teams to improve cycle time
and compliance within extrusion manufacturing
Monitor and maintain extrusion equipment and process instrumentation
including calibration
and repair activities
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and process deviations
identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
Maintain and enhance process designs and workflows to optimize equipment performance and facility utilization
Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
