What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of hands-on experience in trades and maintenance within a resort or commercial environment, Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, Written and verbal communication in English is expected, Demonstrate enthusiasm, self-motivation, with attention to detail, communication skills required to excel in interactions with guests and colleagues, Ability to be versatile, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines, Regularly, the team member must lift, move, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds, Must communicate effectively with supervisors and resort leadership, Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States

CPO (Certified Pool Operator) license preferred
What You'll Do.
Perform and lead engineering projects
and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management
Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and proper operation of MEP systems following resort guidelines
Perform preventive maintenance
and replacement of HVAC and mechanical components
Diagnose plumbing fixtures
and conduct repairs and equipment replacements
Troubleshoot and repair electrical components
such as breakers and contactors
Repair and troubleshoot appliances and household fixtures
Lead small construction projects
including chemical balancing and maintenance of all MEP equipment
Participate actively in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available for work
Read and interpret technical data
Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management
Safely use hand tools
and battery-powered tools needed for the job
and appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Lead and implement safety practices and guidelines
Recognize and identify potential safety hazards on the property
Communicate and interpret guest needs with positive interactions to reach resolutions
Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance

Support resort operations by performing maintenance tasks, including projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders.
