We are seeking an experienced Engineering Software & Infrastructure Administrator to support Intuitive Machines-West critical engineering software suite and computing infrastructure. This role can be based remotely in US. This role equally balances hands-on software administration with infrastructure management across hybrid on-premises and AWS GovCloud environments. The ideal candidate will work as part of the Design and Manufacturing Software Engineering team while independently managing day-to-day operations of engineering tools and systems. **Key Responsibilities:** **Software Administration (50%):** * Administer and support engineering software applications including Creo, Matlab, Hexagon, and Thermal Desktop * Manage software licensing, installations, updates, and patches * Provide tier 2/3 technical support to engineering users * Troubleshoot application performance issues and user access problems * Coordinate with software vendors for technical issues and renewals **Infrastructure Management (50%):** * Manage and maintain HPC clusters for compute-intensive engineering workloads * Administer Windows and Linux server environments * Support hybrid infrastructure spanning on-premises data centers and AWS GovCloud * Implement monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery procedures * Ensure compliance with security policies and GovCloud requirements * Optimize system performance and resource utilization * Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and migrations **Minimum Requirements:** * Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident * Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering software administration and/or infrastructure management * Hands-on experience with CAE/CAD/CAM software administration (Creo, Matlab, Hexagon, Thermal Desktop, or similar platforms) * Experience managing HPC clusters and high-performance computing environments * Experience with Linux and Windows server administration * Experience with cloud infrastruct
