Engineering Project/Program Manager **Description -** **Job Summary** • This role is responsible for providing leadership to individual contributors, identifying opportunities for process improvement, collaborating with various stakeholders, and managing R&D of new technologies. The role applies advanced subject matter knowledge to proactively improve the processes, reduce costs, drive schedules and resolve issues. The role is also responsible for people-care management, recruitment, and career development. **Responsibilities** • Provides direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors coordinating, managing, and leading programs to drive the engineering development and implementation of products and service offerings. • Acts as subject matter expert, identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy. • Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps. • Establishes technology and product goals in collaboration with tech leads, partners, clients, and executive leadership. • Uses communication and program management skills to drive schedules and resolve issues across multiple projects, technology nodes, and sites. • Communicates project status and escalates issues to direct managers, program managers, and internal and external development partners. • Manages relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs, and ensures that team members are effectively communicating and collaborating with outsourced resources. • Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities. • Technically leads and/or executes engineering projects
