What They're Looking For.

Must Have

2-5 years of full-time civil engineering experience in an engineering firm, with exposure to analysis, design, and documentation for site civil / land development projects, Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from ABET accredited civil engineering program

Nice to Have

Master of Science (MS) degree from ABET accredited civil engineering program, Internship in an engineering firm, Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (F. E. ) exam and EIT Certification, Professional Engineer (P. E. ) license

What You'll Do.

Utilization of Autodesk Civil 3D for design and documentation

Perform civil and site engineering analysis for site plans

stormwater management

erosion control under the direct supervision of a senior engineer

Assist with due diligence/site analysis reports

engineer opinion of probable costs

detention/retention computations

Assist with preparation of permit applications for applicable jurisdictional agencies

Attend various meetings

Assist in the preparation of design documentation including Civil 3D models and drawings under the guidance of senior engineers

Conduct research on materials

municipal/zoning codes

and sustainable design practices to inform project decisions

Perform onsite surveys of existing site conditions and document field measurements and observations

Assist in production of final permit

bid and construction drawings

Perform construction phase activities including submittal review and construction site observations

Engage in continuous learning opportunities

attend industry events

and participate in internal training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge

Adapt to various roles within a project and perform at a high level

Proactively accepts tasks beyond the primary scope and adjusts to changing priorities to ensure project success
