And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion. We are looking for a Data Centre Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) Trainee. Our EOT's are Amazon’s front line responders for hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation. This equipment includes, but is not limited to, stand-by diesel generators, switchboards/switchgears, UPSs, PDUs, AHUs, pumps, motors, VFDs, and building automation systems. EOT’s provide 24/7 shift coverage which could include 12 hour shifts, rotating shifts, 3, 4, or 5 day work weeks. The Data Centre Engineering Operations Trainee will be responsible for Data Centre Engineering Operations within an Amazon Data Centre including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management and metric reporting.
